• Why did you develop the software?
• We wanted a program that we could use when at a club to add to our coaching tools. We have been using video for many years as a visual coaching tool but felt we needed to enhance video with animations that we could design quickly, effectively and simply to use at team or individual talks. This application fills the gap.What do you use the software for?
• It is an excellent tool designed by football professionals for use as a planner, organiser and visual coaching tool for all types of coaching session. It allows you to devise your coaching session with individual exercises and save them together as a session in a library. The app also allows you to prepare for matches by designing animations on tactics and movements to be used by both teams in a forthcoming match. Finally, it gives you an excellent scouting tool. During a game where you are analysing the opposition for a forthcoming match, you can design animations quickly and simply of both teams, write notes on the strengths and weaknesses of the team and email them to other coaches, chief scout or manager directly from the game or immediately after. All animations can be shared by email with other coaches who have the system.
• How can the software make you a better coach?
• The most serious coaches use all tools at their disposal to get their message across and therefore make them better coaches through their communication. They also like to be organised. This application combines the two. It has an organisational facility with folders and categories within a library of your coaching sessions. The animations you can create are an excellent visual tool to improve your communication, especially, as in the professional game, if you have different nationalities whose command of the common language of the team is limited. Whatever level of coach you are, the animations will help your communication visually and the library will improve your organisation.
